Research on the Treatment of Coking Plant Wastewater by Fenton-coagulation Process

XU Haiyan,LI Yijiu,LIU Yafei(Department of Chemistry,Tongji University,Shanghai 200092,China)  
The coking plant wastewater that had been treated by biochemical technique was treated by Fenton reagent and the coagulation technique. The research has been done on the influence factors of the action. The experiment result suggests that most of the CODCr can be removed and the water can be discolored in the optimum condition: ρ(Fe2+)=140 mg·L-1,ρ( H2O2)=200 mg·L-1,ρ(FeCl3)=26 mg·L-1,ρ(PAM)=5.2 mg·L-1. The process is effective and has an potentional application.
