Analysis on Nitrogen-related Surface Water Quality Changes and its Socioeconomic Drive Forces in Qingpu District,Shanghai(1997—2007)

Based on the water quality survey of Qingpu District in Shanghai from 1997 to 2007,the temporal tendency of ammonia,nitrate and nitrite content were analyzed.The gray cognate analysis was used to analyze the relationship between nitrogen content and socioeconomic development to reveal the drive forces of water quality changes.The results showed that the content of ammonia,nitrate and nitrite were rising rapidly,and the main driving forces respectively were total households,gross output of fishery and the number of corporations.
