Effect of Y~(3 +)Ions Doping on The Luminescence Properties of Sr_(1-x)Ca_xSi_2O_2N_2∶Eu~(2+)Phosphors

Sr_(1-x)Ca_xSi_2O_2N_2∶Eu~(2+)/Y~(3 +)( x = 0,0. 15,0. 3,0. 6,0. 75,0. 95) phosphors were prepared by a high temperature solid-state reaction method. The effect of Y~(3 +)doping on the luminescence properties of the samples was studied. The results revealed that Y~(3 +)ion doping may significantly improve the photoluminescence properties of MSi_2 O_2 N_2∶ Eu~(2 +)( M = Ca,Sr) because the point defect result from the substitution of Y~(3 +)ions for M~(2 +)could inhibit the oxidization of Eu~(2 +)to Eu~(3 +).Besides,The Y~(3 +)ion has smaller radius which could relax the expansion caused by the larger Eu~(2 +)in Ca Si_2 O_2 N_2∶ Eu~(2 +). The structure of Sr_(1-x)Ca_xSi_2O_2N_2∶Eu~(2+)/Y~(3 +) can solve more Eu~(2 +)ions at an equal distortion degree. With the increasing of x values in Sr_(1-x)Ca_xSi_2O_2N_2∶Eu~(2+)/Y~(3 +),the luminescence intension ratio of Sr_(1-x)Ca_xSi_2O_2N_2∶Eu~(2+)/Y~(3 +)( B1-B6) to Sr_(1-x)Ca_xSi_2O_2N_2∶Eu~(2+)( A1-A6) raises( 120% ~ 180%).
