Purification of Tannin from Casuarina equisetifolia by Macroporous Adsorption Resin &Its Inhibition on Ralstonia solanacearum

Casuarina equisetifoliais the main species as shelter forest in southeastern coast of China,and Ralstonia solanacearumis one of the serious diseases of C.equisetifolia.Experiment for purification of C.equisetifoliatannins was conducted with macroporous adsorption resin,and qualitative analysis of tannin content was carried out using HPLC.Bacteriostatic trial was used to explore the relationship between tannin and host resistance to bacterial wilt.The result showed that tannin extracted fromC.equisetifolia had inhibited effect to R.solanacearum.
