Discussion of Reliability Analysis Methods of Slope Stability

TAN Xiao hui (Resource and Environmental Engineering Department, Hefei University of Technology,Hefei 230009, China)  
In the reliability analysis of slope stability, the evaluation of derivative and the selection of reliability analysis methods are very important. Through analysis, the author points out that the derivative can be gained by difference formula, and the reliability index and failure probability can be obtained by Mean First Order Second Moment Method because Z usually belong to normal distribution for Sweden Method and Bishop Method when c?φ belong to normal distribution.
