Vibration Analysis and Noise Evaluation of Coaxial Planetary Gear Reducer with Dual Power Output

The time-variable stiffness excitation,error excitation and impact excitation of the mesh gears are calculated by the finite element(FE) analysis program of 3-D dynamic contact problem.Using the software of I-DEAS,the dynamic FE model of coaxial planetary gear transmission with dual power output is established;the normal characteristic,dynamic response and structure borne noise of the reducer under inner dynamic excitation is simulated.The results suggest that rotational frequencies of drive shafts and mesh frequencies of gears will not consist with normal frequencies of gearbox,the maximum structure borne noise occurs at the mesh frequency of gears.
