Improved Iterative Algorithm for Nonlinear Seepage in Flow Field of Caving Goaf

In allusion to the nonlinear seepage problem that turbulent flow,transition flow laminar flow coexist with the movement of airflow in a goaf,combined with finite element method,an iterative algorithm to solve nonlinear seepage equation based on Darcy seepage with variable permeability is presented.According to characters of iterative method,a dynamic convergence factor in terms of initial convergence factor and damping convergence factor is introduced to improve the oscillation convergence effect of iterative algorithm.The influence of convergence factor on convergence process is discussed,and the convergence velocity can be accelerated by rationally choosing the initial convergence factor and the damping convergence factor.In comparison to the Darcy seepage,the goaf nonlinear seepage field tends to mild,and the computing result is closer to real flow pattern.The orthogonal flow net formed by air pressure isoline and flow function isoline of goaf,the distribution of air leakage intensity (velocity field) are obtained.At the same time,the distribution result of the variation and transition of flow pattern in goaf is achieved.
