Flow Boiling Characteristic of F12 in the Tubes with Inserted HelicaL Coils

Charaeteristics of the flow boiling heat transfer and flow resistance of F12 inthe tubes inserted with two wire-size and srnall一spacing helical cuils were reported .By choosing ap-propriate helicalwire diameter and smaller space , its flow boiling heat trafisfer coefficient is 2.1 foldas high as that in a plane tube; and its flow resistance increaes less than 2.5 fold as compared withthat in a plane tube,and as a result,the maximal thermal performanct,factor is as higl,as 8.1 Thisenhancement method can be used for enhancing the heat transfer in the evaporator of refrigerationsystem and OAK-series of plate-and tube type evaporator for its、simplieity, convenience and low cost.
