Carbon Storage and Allocation in the Phoebe bournei Plantations in Nanping,Fujian Province

The carbon storage and its allocation of the Phoebe bournei plantations in Nanping of Fujian Province were studied.The total carbon storage in Phoebe bournei was 172.138 t·hm-2,of which the carbon storage of tree layer accounted for 40.14%,and that of the mineral soil occupied 55.99%.The total carbon storage of the undergrowth,litter layer and coarse woody debris(CWD) occupied no more than 5%.In the allocation of tree carbon pool to various organs,stem and bark,root accounted for 71.14% and 21.93%,respectively.The carbon storage of litter occupied no more than 5%.In conclusion,the most of carbon storage was allocated in tree layer and mineral soil.
