Physioecological studies on dry matter production and yield formation in New Plant Type Rice Ⅲ. Yield path analysis and correlation with panicle traits

The result of genetic correlation and path analysis suggested that the low-nodtillers could be improved to increase productive panicle ,furthermore, seed-setting rates could be also improved by reduce of the number of secondary branches and increase of grain weight, in rice breeding. A further discussion about increase of seed-setting rates and yield of flow-limited varieties by the improvement of rice cultivation were also made in this paper.
