Electrochemical behavior of hydroquinone on polyluminol film-modified gold electrodes

Electropolymerization of luminol in a strongly acid aqueous solution produced a thin and rigid film exhibiting well-defined redox peaks. The polyluminol film modified electrode was used for electrocatalytic determination of hydroquinone. In 0.5 mol L~(-1) H_2SO_4 aqueous solution, the linear range for determination of hydroquinone is 5.0×10~(-6)~2.0×10~(-4)molL~(-1)。
