Experimental study on mixture ratio of large amount of low-quality-fly-ash concrete pavement and its engineering application

The influences of water-binder ratio,low-quality-fly-ash content and ages on the bending and compressive strength of concrete for rural highway pavements with midium and low traffic levels are studied by orthogonal testing method,as well as contrast testing methods.Beasd on the testing results,a practical mixture ratio for the pavements is suggested in this paper.The basic properties of large amount of low-quality-fly-ash concrete pavement are verified through the building of two test rural highway roads in Fuzhou city,as well as by core testings of various ages.Socio-economic benefit analysis shows that the use of large amount of low-quality fly-ash concrete pavement in the construction of rural highway roads has significant social and economic benefits.
