Energy Dissipation Analysis of Asymmetric Connected Double-Tower Structure

The energy dissipation and vibration reduction analysis is carried out using a real project as the background. The optimization of damper parameter is implemented according to numerical simulation. It is demonstrated that setting viscous damper in asymmetric connected double- tower will effectively reduce the structural responses. When the velocity index of damper is determined,increasing damping factor will be helpful to the energy dissipation of damper as well as reducing the responses of the asymmetric double- tower structure.
