Treatment of Landfill Leathate by UASCB-SMBR

YAN Zhi-ming, PU Hong-ping, YANG Li-ping (Faculty of Environmental Science and Technology, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Kunming 650093)  
The process characteristics and influence factors of combined upflow anaerobic sludge compound bed(UASCB) and sequencing membrane bioreactor(SMBR) were investigated for landfill leathate. With infuluent COD average 2500mg/L, NH~+_4-N average 360mg/L, volumetric organic loading in UASCB 7~20kgCOD/m~3\5d, in SMBR 1~5kgCOD/m~3\5d, total HRT of the system was 14~28h, the total removal rate of COD and NH~+_4-N of the process were more 92% and 80%.
