WU Gao-ming1, 2, QU Xiao-ping1, HUANG Wei-hong1, LU Xiao-hua1, 2(1. Research Institute of Environment Science, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan 430074; 2.Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Wuhan 430081)
The process that coking wastewater treated by combining activated carbon with Cu with microwave radiation was introduced to degrade COD due to high COD content in coking wastewater after treated by activated sludge. Results showed that the combining process had the better effect on the degradation of COD and was far superior to the absorption of activated carbon with Cu and microwave radiation.
