Residue Antibiotics in Environment: Potential Risks and Relevant Studies

Antibiotics, the widely used pharmaceuticals, were detected in the surface waters of many countries through different paths such as excreta of human as well as animals. This paper reviews the world-wide investigations focusing on the environmental risks linked to trace antibiotics in surface waters and soil, and introduces the related analysis methods used abroad.
