Modified Alkali Lignin: Its Preparation and Property of Heavy Metal Adsorption

This paper elaborates on utilization of lignin in black liquor from the alkaline pulp-making process. The modified lignin is prepared in laboratory with acrylic amide and is characterized by means of IR; an investigation of its adsorption of heavy metal ions such as Cu2+, Cr2+ and Ni2+ is conducted as well.
