Effect of Mechanism of Caisson on the Protozoan Community in Water

Aiming at the eutrophication status of Waihuan River in Tianjin City,9 kinds of protozoa were observed,among them there are 3 species of the class Mastigophora,4 species of the class Cilia,2 species of the class Gastropoda,using experimental technique of microcosm and orthogonal test method,during the research on the influences of caisson microcosm on the type and quantity of protozoa. Result shows that the class Ciliata,Gastropoda and Mastigophora were dominant species in summer,but the class Mastigophora was dominant species in autumn. The above changes indicate that the structure control volume play a remarkable role in protozoa in the summer and fall. The best caisson microcosm structure volume can be disposed as ceramic bunker+shale+hydrophytes which comprises ensata and Pontederiaceae. There is a very significant influence of material,matrix types and plants configuration on protozoa community during the summer and autumn.
