Comparison of Carbon Dioxide Capture Technology in Power Plant

Due to increasingly intensified global greenhouse effect,it is quite necessary to develop carbon dioxide capture technology.By analysis of working process and characteristics of three different carbon dioxide capture technologies including pre-combustion capture,post-combustion capture and oxygen-enriched combustion technology,the current development and application of carbon dioxide capture technology were introduced.Different carbon dioxide capture technologies were discussed,with comparison of basic principle of technologies as well as their advantages and disadvantages.By detailed analysis of carbon dioxide capture technology,combining with analysis of basic principle and application of various physical,chemical,biological adsorption technology,more efficient adsorption methods were assessed in order to enhance CO2 capture efficiency and reduce capture cost.National level project and pilot study was proposed for the study of precombustion capture,postcombustion capture and oxygen enriched combustion technology.Technical development of carbon dioxide capture suitable to local characteristics was proposed as well.
