Study on the Fertilized Soil of Mixed Forests ofCunninghamia lanceolata-Michelia macclurei

Yang Yushen Li Zhenwen (Fujian College of Forestry) Wu Zuoxi Lin Changqin Li Chunlin ( Youxi Forestry Research Institute, Fujian )
This paper deals with the two years' research work from 1987-1988 on the mixed forest of Cunninghamia lanceolata-Michelia macclurei(6yrs), in which soil structure, soil moisture properties, soil chemistry, soil microbe and soil enzyme activities were studied. The result showed that the mixed forest (3 Cunninghamia lanceolate:1 Michelia macclurei ) has better fertilized soil, so that it can be largely spread in subtopical areas, which has great significance in improving the forestation condition of monotonous species there and in carrying out studies of the declined fertility in that areas.
