Key Points of Techniques of Building Second-Generation Clonal Seed Orchard of Masson Pine——Taking the Orchard in Fujian Shaowu Weiming Forest Farm as Example

On the basis of summarization of building a large area of second-generation clonal seed orchard by Fujian Weiming Forest Farm.The key technical points for building a second-generation seed orchard of Pinus massoniana were put forward as follows: 1.Develop clonal engraftment seedlings with high genetic gain and healthy growth were cultured to build the garden,which established genetic gain basis for producing the fine species;2.The proper mountain land was selected to build the garden,a particular planning was made,which provided the scientific basis for building the garden and productive management;3.The method of 2 belts with 1 channel was chose for site preparation to build a fine environment of plant growth in view of mountain features of different soil qualities and irrigation without water;4.The tree body management was implemented,the high-yield tree type with low tree height,big tree crown was cultured when the tree was young after building the garden;5.Planting maps and marks were established to conduct the seed garden management correctly and popularize and apply the seed garden mixed and single clones.
