THE ORDINATION OF INSECT COMMUNITIES IN PADDY FIELDS

You Minsheng Wu Zhongfu (Dept.of Plant Protction,FAC)  
This paper deals mainly with the ordination of insect communities in paddy fields.Three methods,namely,polar ordination(PO),principal compo- nents analysis(PCA),and a new one called fuzzy grouping analysis(FGA), were employed to study the ordination of communities.The fuzzy grouping analysis that is adopted to study the ordination of communities for the first time proved to be more effective than the other two.
