STUDIES ON THE CULTIVATION OF SHII TAKE(LENTINUS EDODES)WITH BAGASSE SUBSTRATUM IN SUGARCANE FIELD

The cultivation of shii-take with bagasse substratum in sugarcane field was studied from 1981-1982 to 1986-1987 cultivated seasons in Xianyou County, Fujian Province.The results showed that the shii-take yield increased sig- nificantly by setting the polypropylene bags filled with bagasse substratum in sugarcane field,compared with the cultivation in room or in built awning in cane field.The effects of bagasse substratum on the shii-take strains were dif- ference,the responces of strains Sc12,Cr02and Se22 to bagasse substratum were better.The biological effects were different significantly for prescrip- tions in which the high-yield-element 2 played the most important role, and for weights and volumes of fungus column in which 675 g of substratum to fill the bag of 50×17.5×0.06 cm was the best.The study also showed that the relative biological effect of the cultivation of shii-take in sugarcane field by synthetic technique was 131.97% which was higher than that by single technique or uncomplete technique.In addition,the cultivation of shii- take in cane field accelerated the cane growth and reduced the freeze in- jury of sugarcane in winter because it increased the CO_2 density in canopy and the temperature and moisture in field.After shii-take had been pluck- ed the fungus columns were spread into field as fertilizer which increased the types and numbers of profitable microorganism and improved the enzyme activity and increased the effective nutrients in soil,thereby increased the cane yield significantly.
