Application of ISSR markers to the genetic polymorphism of Camellia sinensis

The application of ISSR to the relationship analysis of tea cultivars(Camellia sinensis) was carried out,61 bands were amplified by 12 primers,53 bands were polymorphic,which accounted for 87.08% and each primer combination amplified 5.08 bands on average.All the 17 cultivars were divided into two groups.The results indicated that ISSR molecular markers had high efficiency and good repeatability,which was a useful tool for the analysis of the relationship among tea cultivars.
