Dynamic monitoring and prediction of Fuzhou urban environment and land utilization by remote sensing

By means of remote sensing technology,dynamic monitoring experiments of land utilization had been done for 20 years in Fuzhou urban area where the change rate of land utilization was extremely high.On that foundation dynamic analysis and evaluation were conducted. The results of the experiment and research showed that the images and materials of aviation and from resource satellite by remote sensing were favourable to obtain reliable data of dynamic prediction and evaluation of land utilization types with low cost and by feasible method. The conclusions from analysis could be used to establish and renew the land management data base and to provide scientific evidence for government to make policy of reasonably utilizing land resource, meanwhile to supply the precious materials for urban programming and administration and research of urban evolution.
