Study on Application of Kaolin in Synthetic Processing of Molecular Sieve and Its Calcination Property

The effect of the chemical composition, crystal structure and calcinated properties of hard kaolin from Inner Mongolia to synthesize molecular sieves have been studied. The sample is tested by X-ray diffraction and Differential Thermal Analysis. It is concluded that the whiteness of the product was increased but calcium ion exchange capacity of the product was decreased with the calcinated temperature increased.
