Study on Synthesis of 4A Zeolite from Alkli-activated Kaolinite

Cao Jilin Wang Ying Tan Zhaoyang Liu Xiuwu(School of Chemical Engineering,Hebei University of Technology,Tianjin 300130)  
In order to reduce the energy cost of preparation of 4A zeolite by tradition method of kaolinite calcination at high temperature,the 4A zeolite was synthesized by alkli-activated kaolinite from Maoming of Guangdong province as raw material and crystallization reaction.The suitable technology conditions were ascertained and the reaction mechanism was analyzed.The regular 4A zeolite product was prepared.Compared with the tradition method,this technology of 4A zeolite prepared by alkli-activated method has the advantage of saving energy.
