Study on Preparation of Alumina Oxide with Acid Hydrolysis of Gangue by Microwave Irradiation

The alumina oxide was prepared with gangue by microwave irradiation.The effects of sulfuric acid concentration,particle size of gangue,acid leaching time on leaching rate of alumina oxide were investigated.The research results showed that the optimum conditions of the technology is that sulfuric acid concentration 4 mol/L,particle size of gangue is less than 160 μm,acid leaching time 25 min,leaching rate of alumina oxide can reach more than 94 % when liquid to solid is 4∶1.The acid leaching time and consuming of sulfuric acid of the technology are greatly less than traditional technology.The acting alumina oxide being prepared with the sample has better usability.
