Theoretical Analysis and Numerical Simulation of Temperature Distribution for Laser-irradiated Skin Tissue

Temperature distribution in the biotissue during the optical thermal interaction between laser and biological tissue is theoretical analyzed based on the pennesbioheat transfer equations. By using the blood perfusion rate and metabolic rate, the analyzable solution for the variation of the temperature distribution in skin is also derived. Furthermore, numerical simulation results for temperature distribution in skin under irradiation of laser are presented. Finally, the affection of laser irradiation time, depth of tissue and thermal properties of biological tissues on temperature distribution is investigated in detail.
