Risk factors for postsurgical gastroparesis syndrome after radical operation of colorectal carcinoma:Analysis of 13 cases

Objective To study the risk factors of postoperative gastroparesis syndrome(PGS)after radical operation of colorectal carcinoma.Methods Clinical data of 277 cases undergoing radical colectomy and protectomy were collected.Of them,13 with PGS were enrolled.The clinical manifestations and risk factors for PGS were analyzed.Results Over 70 ages,postoperative hyperglycemia,postoperative hypoproteinemia,postoperative abdominal cavity infection,and using analgesia pump were high risk factors for PGS in above cases.Conclusions PGS is affected by many factors after radical operation of colorectal carcinoma.It is important to pay attention to perioperative management in preventing the onset of PGS.
