On the origin and outlet of predicament besieging the dominant teaching theory

Ou SHI(Educational Science Faculty, Hunan Normal University, Changsha, Hunan 410081, China)  
The dominant teaching theory, losing contact with teaching practice and lacking in critical thinking and particular discourse system of its own, has stepped into some predicament. In the new century, we should attach importance to researching the new paradigm of teaching theory and commit ourselves to constructing the scientific teaching theory. We also should break out of the fense of teaching theory research and base its development on teaching practice.
