From Two-way Interaction to Three-dimension Combination——An Academic Discussion of the Rise of Environmental Social History

Social history and environmental history are two branches of history which emerged in the middle of 20th century.Both of them possess vivid characteristics of research and some shortcomings as well,which provide possibility and necessity for their combination.As the result of their combination,environmental social history extends from two-way interactions between people and nature,as well as between people and society to the organic combination of three-dimension structure,which will promote the depth and width of the research of environmental history.
