DEBINDING AND SINTERING PROCESSES FOR INJECTION MOLDED FGH96 NICKEL-BASED SUPERALLOY PARTS

Samples of nickel-based superalloy were prepared by powder injection molding(PIM) using FGH96 gas atomized powder as raw material.The suitable solvent-thermal debinding and sintering processes were established.In the sintered samples(sintered at 1 270℃ in vacuum for 2 h at normal pressure),homogeneous microstructure was ofsered the relative density was 97.2%;The mechanical properties of the PIM parts at room temperature 1 007 MPa in tensile strength and 5% in elongation.
