Study on Diagnostic Reflectance Spectrum Response of the Citrus Leaves to Water Stress

In this study,the dynamic changes in relative water content(RWC) and the reflectance spectrum of Fukumoto navel orange(Citrus sinensis(L) cv.Fukomoto navel orange) leaves were analyzed in a simulated drought stress environment to obtain the diagnostic reflectance spectrum.Linear regression model between leaves RWC and the depth and area of the reflectance spectrum absorption peak at 1 400 nm was established through quantitative calculation of the depth and area of the characteristic reflectance spectrum absorption peaks using normalization technique.The results showed that the reflectance spectrum around 1 400 nm was a good indicator of citrus leaves RWC and could be used to assess RWC of citrus leaves.
