Effects of preharvest tree spraying of BTH on the occurrence of anthracnose and fruit ripening of Nanshan peach were studied. The results showed that preharvest spraying of 50 mg/L BTH on peach trees was able to effectively control anthracnose and reduce fruit rot.In addition,BTH treatment reduced fruit respiration and ethylene production, and delayed fruit softening and ripening processes.
