Zinc Distribution and Changes of Mineral Nutrient Elements Contents in Hydroponic Trifoliate Orange Seedlings under Zinc Stress

In order to understand distribution and influence of Zn on the contents of mineral elements in trifoliate orange seedlings under zinc stress,the seedling samples under Zn deficiency(0μmol·L-1),control(0.7μmol·L-1)or Zn excess(70μmol·L-1)treatments for 70 days were investigated and analyzed.The results showed that the content of Zn in the roots,stems or leaves of seedling increased significantly with increasing the concentrations of Zn.The sequence of contents of Zn in seedlings was rootstemleaf.The contents of Zn increased in above-ground parts of seedlings under Zn deficiency.Compared with the control,contents of K,Mn and Cu in leaves of seedlings under Zn deficiency decreased significantly while that of Fe increased significantly.The contents of Mn in the roots of seedlings under Zn deficiency increased significantly but the Cu decreased significantly.Compared with the control,contents of P,Ca and Mg in leases,P and K in stems,Fe and Cu in roots of seedlings with Zn excess treatments increased significantly,while the K,Fe and Mn in leaves,Ca and Fe in stems,K and Mn in roots decreased significantly.There were no significant differences among the contents of S in the organs of all treatments.Correlation analysis revealed significant positive correlation between Zn and Cu contents in seedling.Also,Zn and Fe showed antagonistic effect in leaf and stem,but synergistic effect in root.
