Study of the agronomic characters of quality grain rice Guihuaxiang series

DENG Ri lie 1,NIE Cheng rong 1, LI Mei 1, WEN Yu hui 1, YANG Xuan hua 2 , WANG Yun bo 1(1.Agronomy Department, Foshan University,Nanhai 528231,China; 2.Foshan Agricultural School,Foshan 528000,China)  
The agronomic characters of Guihuaxiang series and other three quality grain rice cultivars were studied in the paper. The results indicated that Guihuaxiang series had good agronomic characters and 90 100 centimeter high of plant was suitable for quality rice. The key points of plant type improvement of quality rice varieties are:to add appropriately the tiller numbers and LAI, and reduce openness of the top three functional leaves.
