Application of GPR in Detecting Potential Hazards of Water Conservancy Projects

The summary is made for the development history of ground penetrating radar(GPR) and their application conditions in detecting the potential hazards of water conservancy projects.At the same time,the characters of the radar displays about seepage,crack and voids and the application of GPR are introduced respectively.Then,according to engineering examples,some problems and the research works which should be undertaken in detecting the potential hazards of water conservancy projects by GPR are pointed out.
