Impact of Seismic Force Angle on Earthquake Stability of Highway Slope with Protection Measures

Considering the impact of seismic force angle and slope protection measures on the seismic stability of a slope in Bishop method,and taking a linear slope for example,a mechanical model was established. Then the calculation formula for the slope safety factors within the range of different seismic force angle was derived. Sinmultaneously,the VB engineering calculation software was written to make iterative calculation,and the safety factors and their variation law under certain protection force and different seismic force angle were obtained,which could provide important references for the seismic design of slope.
