Creep Property and Stress Relaxation of Undisturbed Soil from Huangtupo Landslide

The sliding zones of larger-scale landslide usually were buried deeply,thus it is difficult to obtain samples,so the research regards to this issue is relatively rare at present.In order to analyze the creep and stress relaxation characteristics,we collected samples from the underground tunnel group belongs to the Three Gorges Research Center which was built in the sliding mass of Huangtupo slope.According to the creep tests,the rheological properties of the slip band soil was exposed,and parameters of Nishihara creep model were derived.Compared with the results of the tests,the creep model turns out to be suitable in the simulation of creep rheological properties.The relationships among the stress,strain and time were also analyzed,based on the regression analysis we get the stress relaxation function of slip zone soil samples.The parameters of Nishihara model and the stress relaxation function both provide the basis for the stability analysis of Huangtupo slope.
