Finite Element Method Numerical Simulation of TE103 Single Mode Microwave Resonance Cavity

A mathematical model was deduced to describe the element method(FEM) simulation of TE103 single mode microwave resonance cavity.The contour electric field distribution in the microwave resonance cavity and WC-Co when heating it was analyzed and discussed with the ANSYS software.The numerical simulation results show that there are three even electric field regions with the same size in the rectangle microwave resonance cavity without load.These regions will become smaller and the middle region doesn't become smaller conspicuously,while the others are the other way round after putting in cylindrical WC-Co sample.The electric field in the sample becomes bigger gradually from inner to exterior.The contour electric field distribution is uneven,which is the cause of uneven heating that easily contribute to the sample cracking.The simulation result is in accordance with the experimental result.
