A Temperature Measurement Apparatus for Micowave Heating Sample With Aqueous Heat Capacity Method

The emphasis of this paper is put on how to measure the temperature inside a solid material sample that is heated and synthesized with MW,more accurately.Based on analyses on several online typical temperature-measurement techniques in MW heating processes,it is thought that there are always defects in on-line temperature measurement techniques for solid material samples,especially inside solid material samples,when using microwave heating and synthesizing methods for materials.So,and also according to some characteristics of microwave heating and synthesizing,an off-line temperature measurement method as well as its apparatus for determining average temperature of a solid material sample is proposed and practiced.This method as well as its apparatus is called the aqueous heat capacity method and apparatus,respectively.The principle of aqueous heat capacity method is based on heat transmission and energy conservation.It is reliable that temperature is measured with the aqueous heat capacity apparatus,through the test proof of related experimental process of heating and synthesizing material sample with MW method. When it is designed and manufactured specially and consciously,the experimental measurement results obtained with the aqueous heat capacity apparatus may be taken as an important test to theoretical computations about temperature profile in a solid material sample heated and synthesized with MW method.
