Research on Nd-doped Barium Titanate Powder Prepared by Hydrothermal Synthesis

Superfine Nd-doped barium titanate powder was prepared by hydrothermal method.The effect of doping Nd in powder and ceramic electric properties were discussed through DTA,XRD and SEM. As indicated by results,Nd could substitute Ba or Ti,which was helpful to get the microstructure with tiny grain and high density.When W(NdCl3)% was 0.6,the density reached the maximum and dielectric constant reached 5650,destroyed electric strength rose up to more than 3.5kV/mm.
