OYANG Dong(Dept. of Civil Eng., Jinan Univ., Guangzhou 510632, China)  
A new method for testing the resistance of concrete to sulfates is put forward. With the test method, the chemical resistance properties of ultra high strength concrete (UHSC) are tested and compared with ordinary concrete. The results show that the chemical resistance of UHSC is better than that of ordinary concrete ,but due to chemical composition, UHSC made from portlang cement still can not resist the attack of high concentration solutions of H2SO4, HNO3, HCl , (NH4)2SO4 etc.
