Synthesis of Corrosion Inhibitor and Its Performance under Air Injection Corrosive Environment

A kind of imidazoline corrosion inhibitor BMIA was synthesized,and then it was mixed with hydrazine as an excellent deoxidant,and finally a novel corrosion inhibition system BMIA-H was gained.The best ratio of imidazoline corrosion inhibitor to hydrazine was evaluated by dynamic weight loss method.The inhibition performance of BMIA-H was studied by polarization curve measurement and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The results reveal that the best ratio of imidazoline BMIA to hydrazine was 2∶3.When the mass concentration of BMIA-H was 500 mg/L,the efficiency could reach 98.32%.BMIA-H is a mixed-type corrosion inhibitor.
