Influences of Layered Structure of Particle on Scattering Characteristics and Laser Particle Sizing

According to the classical Aden-Kerker theory,the forward scatte ri ng characteristics of coated particles are studied,and the coefficient matrices with Aden-Kerker,Mie and Fraunhofer theories,are calculated respectively.The p article size distribution is inversed by dependent model algorithm.As shown by t he numeric simulations,the forward scattering intensity of the coated particles is determined by the outer and inner radii,as well as refractive indices.In prac tical applications of forward laser particle sizing of coated particles,errors m aybe brought in if diffraction theory or Mie theory are used to calculate the sc attering intensity instead of Aden-Kerker theory.
