Design of Atomizer Used for Liquid Phase Synthesized Powder by Thermal Spray

In order to form the droplet which has identical size basically and distributes uniformly in space for preparing the nanometer particles with fine uniformity and narrow particle diameter distribution, the atomizer used for liquid phase synthesized particles of thermal spray is designed according to related practice results and experienced formulas after contrasting the atomiz- ers of one-fluid and two-fluid and by analysising the process of droplet atomization. The designed atomizer is 0.2 millimeter diameter of atomizing gas duct, 2.0 millimeter diameter of liquid feedstock duct and 90 angle between the two crossing. The atomizer is successfully applied to the practice of preparation of TiO2 nanoparticles by plasma spray.
