FLUORIMETRIC REACTION OF TITANIUM WITH o-PHENANTHROLINE AND BROMOPYROGALLOL RED IN THE PRESENCE OF TRITON N-101 AND ITS APPLICATION

Optimum conditions for the Phen and BPR system in the determination of Ti in the presence of Triton N-101 are established.The mechanism of fluorimetric reaction has been discussed.This method can be used to determine Ti in steel and soil with satisfactory results.
