Determinatiion of Arsenic in Drinking Water With Organic Extraction System-NaBH_4-Ethanol Solution by Hydride Generation Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry

A new method for the determination of As is proposed by hydride generation atomic fluorescence spectrometry.The optimum operating condition is given.Interference of coexistence elements(about 30)with the determination of As is tested.The influence of NaBH_4 in ethanol,N,N-dimethyiformamide(DMF) solution on fluorescence signol is studied. Compared with DMF,ethanol is lower-priced,non-poison,lower fluorescence background, and hydride can be generated at lower acidity.The detection limit of As in organic phase is 2.8×10~(-9)g.The relative standard deviation ls 4.4%.For drinking-water sample,the recovery rate is 98~104%.
