Determination of Phosphorus by Microwave Induced Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometry Using an Ultrasonic Nebulizer

The determination method of phosphorus by microwave induced plasma (MIP) atomic emission spectrometry was investigated. Aqueous samples were introduced with an ultrasonic nebulizer and a desolvation system. The emission spectroscopic behavior of phosphorus in Ar and He MIP was investigated. The influence of some experimental conditions on emission intensity of phosphorus was examined. The detection llmits for phosphorus in Ar and He as the carrier gas were 0.03 and 0.0045μg/ml, respectively. The relative standard deviation was5%.
